Amanda Viviers Builds a Year of Group Practice Around a New Guided Journal

Amanda Viviers launches a year-long guided journal with free digital prompts and plans to bring the book into her Write Club community in 2027.

Independent Australian author and journal-therapy coach Amanda Viviers has released Your Story, Your Healing, a 144-page guided journal that will become the core text for her online Write Club community in 2027.

Announced on September 15, the book contains 13 chapters and 100 prompts intended to be explored over a full year. A free digital companion provides additional prompts and session tools while keeping the reader’s actual writing offline.

A year-long journal without a daily streak

Viviers has organized the book around themes rather than 365 dated entries. It begins with an end-of-year review and personal-retreat guide, then moves through questions about formative experiences, rest, identity, personal voice and self-compassion.

Each chapter combines a reflection with Christian scripture, prayer, questions and room to write. The slower structure allows readers to spend several weeks on one subject instead of treating missed days as a broken commitment.

Viviers presents the journal as a resource for examining the stories people carry about themselves and their experiences. The official material does not position it as mental-health treatment, and its reflective exercises should not be confused with clinical therapy.

The website supports writing without storing it

The accompanying website includes a randomized deck of 70 prompts, an adjustable timer, six short meditative readings, videos and a Spotify playlist. Readers can use those elements alongside the book or as the beginning of a separate writing session.

The digital component is notable for what it does not ask users to do. Journal entries are not typed into an account, displayed to a community or converted into measurable online progress; the website directs attention back to private writing by hand.

That restrained design gives the project a clear division of labor. Technology supplies the prompt, timing and atmosphere, while the reader retains the substance of the session on paper.

The book will become a community curriculum

Viviers is an accredited journal-therapy coach, retreat facilitator and author of 15 books. She runs Write Club from Perth, Western Australia, offering four online sessions each week in which participants receive protected writing time without being required to share their work.

In 2027, members will work through Your Story, Your Healing chapter by chapter. The plan turns the publication into a year-long framework for an existing community rather than leaving the book to operate only as an individual workbook.

For independent coaches and personal-growth educators, that transition is the more consequential part of the launch. A single body of material is being used across three levels of participation: private reflection, freely accessible digital support and facilitated group practice.

Viviers has also linked the book to educational and community work on the Thailand–Myanmar border. Her shop describes a contribution of 10 percent of profits, while the companion site says 10 percent of sales, so the precise calculation is not yet consistent across the two official pages.
