Life and leadership coach Laura Foster has opened enrollment for Soul School, a new ten-month group coaching program for women that will run from November 2026 through September 2027. The program is capped at ten participants and combines online coaching with two in-person weekends in Los Angeles.
Soul School expands Foster’s previous group work into a whole-life format rather than concentrating on one professional or personal goal. It is designed for women who already have experience with personal development but want a sustained setting for examining purpose, relationships, self-trust, creativity and direction.
A small cohort with several layers of support
The group begins with an online call on November 18. Participants then meet twice each month on Zoom for two-hour group coaching sessions, with recordings available afterward. The structure also includes rotating open coaching and embodiment calls, a private Circle community and monthly partner conversations.
Four private one-hour coaching sessions with Foster are included. The first in-person retreat is scheduled for December 5 and 6 in Los Angeles, while a closing Southern California retreat is planned for September 2027. Core portions of both retreats can also be joined online.
The deliberately small cohort is central to the format. Foster describes the program as a coaching container rather than a course with a fixed sequence of lessons. Participants bring current questions and experiences into the group, while the longer duration gives relationships within the cohort time to develop alongside the coaching.
Moving beyond single-goal coaching
Foster has previously run group programs around goals, creativity, leadership and emotional capacity. Soul School brings those areas together and places greater emphasis on what she calls soul work: paying attention to inner direction and translating that awareness into everyday choices. The program does not require a particular religious framework.
The mix of group calls, private coaching, embodiment sessions and retreats also reflects a broader move among independent coaches toward longer, multi-format programs. Rather than relying on weekly teaching alone, Soul School uses several forms of contact across most of a year, giving participants space to work with changes as they unfold in ordinary life.
Applications are currently being handled through individual conversations with Foster before enrollment is confirmed.
