HATCHED Opens Pilot Neurodiversity Training for Experienced Coaches

Helena Territt’s HATCHED is launching a live online pilot that takes experienced coaches beyond general neurodiversity awareness into specialist practice.

HATCHED Coaching is introducing a specialist training programme for experienced coaches who want to work more confidently with neurodivergent clients. Created and led by executive coach and neurodiversity specialist Helena Territt, the programme moves beyond general awareness and focuses on the practical, relational and ethical demands of coaching people whose cognitive styles may not fit conventional coaching frameworks.

The first cohort launches in October 2026 as a pilot. It consists of ten live two-hour Zoom sessions, practical exercises completed between classes and two optional group supervision sessions. Cohorts are intentionally small, with between six and twelve participants.

From awareness to specialist practice

The curriculum covers six broad areas: the brain and neurodiversity, emotional regulation, executive function, relational and social differences, identity and self, and practical coaching approaches. Topics include time blindness, task initiation, masking, rejection-sensitive responses, sensory sensitivities, non-linear thinking and the ways standard coaching tools may need to be adapted.

The programme is aimed at coaches who already hold a recognised qualification or accreditation, although experienced practitioners without a formal credential may be considered individually. HATCHED is also building reflective practice into the course. Participants seeking certification are expected to attend most live sessions and complete a substantial reflective inquiry based on work with a neurodivergent client.

Territt’s background combines executive coaching, coach supervision and ADHD-specific coaching. HATCHED positions the training for practitioners who already understand core coaching skills but have found that familiar approaches do not always translate effectively when clients process information, emotion, time or social interaction differently.

Small cohorts and supervision

The addition of supervision is particularly notable because it gives participants a place to examine live coaching situations rather than treating the subject as purely theoretical. That structure reflects a broader move within specialist coach education toward supported practice, especially when practitioners are working with clients whose needs may sit outside the assumptions built into standard coaching models.

The first cohort is now fully booked, and HATCHED is inviting interest for a subsequent group. CPD accreditation is currently being pursued for the programme, while the pilot format may still evolve as feedback from the first cohort is incorporated into future delivery.
