Corrections Policy

Transform Wire aims to publish accurate, clearly sourced and responsibly edited information.

When we become aware of a meaningful factual error, we review the available evidence and correct the article when a correction is warranted.

What we correct

Corrections may be made when an article contains an inaccurate fact, name, date, quotation, description, source attribution or other detail that affects the accuracy of the story.

Minor typographical, grammatical or formatting errors may be corrected without a public correction note when they do not change the meaning of the article.

Material corrections

When a correction changes the meaning of an article or fixes an important factual error, Transform Wire may add a correction or clarification note to the article.

Where appropriate, the note will briefly explain what was changed.

The article’s modification date may also be updated to reflect a substantive change.

Updates and clarifications

Not every change to an article is a correction.

An article may be updated when relevant new information becomes available after publication.

A clarification may be added when the original information was not factually incorrect but additional context is needed to make the meaning clearer or prevent a reasonable misunderstanding.

We distinguish between corrections, updates and clarifications according to the nature of the change.

Reporting an error

Readers, professionals and organizations mentioned in our coverage may contact Transform Wire if they believe an article contains a factual error.

When reporting a possible error, please include where possible:

  • the article title or URL
  • the specific statement believed to be inaccurate
  • the information you believe is correct
  • a reliable source or supporting evidence

Correction requests are reviewed against the original source material and any additional evidence provided.

Requests for changes

A request for a change does not automatically mean that an article will be edited or removed.

Transform Wire distinguishes between factual errors and requests to alter information that remains accurate and properly sourced.

If the available evidence shows that the published information is accurate, we may decide that no correction is necessary.

Removal of content

Transform Wire does not routinely remove accurate published articles simply because a person or organization would prefer that the coverage no longer appear.

Removal may be considered in exceptional circumstances, including significant legal, privacy, safety or factual concerns.

Decisions about removal remain under the editorial responsibility of Transform Wire.

Our approach

Our goal is to maintain an accurate and transparent editorial record.

When meaningful errors are identified, we aim to correct them clearly, fairly and without unnecessary delay.
