Charlie Goldsmith Introduces Ennie, a Testing Platform for Energy Healing Practitioners

Charlie Goldsmith is developing Ennie, a platform designed to assess energy healing sessions against comparison sessions and connect participants with practitioners.

Energy healing practitioner Charlie Goldsmith is developing Ennie, a digital platform intended to connect people seeking energy healing with practitioners whose sessions have been assessed through a structured testing process. The project is preparing for a public launch in late 2026 and is currently inviting both prospective participants and healers to join its waitlist.

Rather than building a conventional practitioner directory based on training histories, testimonials or personal recommendations, Ennie is being designed around session-level observations. Its proposed system records changes in participants’ reported pain and compares those observations with a placebo baseline. The platform is intended to identify practitioners who consistently meet its qualification criteria.

Testing before practitioner matching

The planned process begins when a participant describes the symptoms they would like to address. A private, anonymous session is then arranged with a healer, and the participant records pain levels before, during and after the session. Ennie proposes comparing those responses with results from placebo sessions before assigning a practitioner its Qualified status.

Goldsmith is opening the testing pathway to people from different backgrounds. Practitioners trained in Reiki or Healing Touch can participate, but previous formal training is not required. The platform intends to assess candidates using the same measurement process rather than treating a particular qualification or energy healing tradition as proof of effectiveness.

The project also describes two different experiences for users. One pathway is for people seeking sessions with practitioners who have completed its qualification process. The other is for people who want their own healing work assessed. Both routes are being built around privacy and standardized feedback rather than public demonstrations.

A proposed research connection

Ennie says its testing protocol was designed by Professor Richard Harris and a research team at the University of California, Irvine. The project also says the researchers are preparing studies involving the platform, with recruitment expected to begin. Those are plans for research and assessment, not evidence that the platform has already established the effectiveness of energy healing.

The distinction matters because an individual improvement reported after a session does not, on its own, demonstrate that the session caused it. Ennie’s comparison-based approach is an attempt to address that uncertainty within the framework it has chosen. Its public materials describe a qualification system but do not establish how the platform will perform once used at scale.

For independent energy practitioners, the development introduces a different model of professional visibility. Instead of asking prospective clients to judge a healer mainly through biography, lineage or reviews, Ennie proposes an additional layer of outcome tracking. Whether that model proves useful will depend on the quality of its testing, interpretation and subsequent research.

The platform remains in development, with early-access invitations and launch updates being collected ahead of its planned late-2026 release.
