The Highly Sensitive Human Academy has opened its September 2026 cohort of Professional HSP Coach Training, a three month program for coaches and other professionals who want to specialise in work with highly sensitive people.
The training combines live and self paced learning and is structured around a defined coaching process rather than treating high sensitivity as a standalone topic. The academy says the cohort is capped to keep the learning group relatively small.
HSP work framed as a professional niche
The curriculum covers an eight step coaching process alongside parts work, shadow work, holding space, trauma informed practice and nervous system co regulation. The academy positions the course as professional education for coaches, therapists, psychologists, educators and leaders who want a clearer framework for work involving high sensitivity.
That professional framing is notable in a field where HSP material has often been presented mainly through books, self assessment and general personal development. Here, the emphasis is on scope of practice, structured coaching and a defined specialist niche.
A broader training pathway is taking shape
The September coach training sits within a wider professional education program at the academy. Its current training calendar also includes specialist education focused on sensation seeking among highly sensitive people, with additional practitioner and advanced programs scheduled for 2027.
For coaches working with sensitivity as a central client theme, the new cohort reflects a continuing shift toward more specialised professional pathways rather than broad one size fits all coaching education.
