Intesoma Prepares October Start for 500 Hour Breathwork Teacher Training

Intesoma is preparing an October 2026 start for its 12 month, 500 hour Breathwork Teacher Training, combining online and in person learning.

Intesoma is preparing to begin a new 12 month Breathwork Teacher Training in October 2026, with a curriculum designed for people who want to teach breathwork or integrate breath based practices into an existing professional role.

The 500 hour program combines online and in person learning and is led by Christine Schmid and Conni Biesalski. Intesoma presents the training both as preparation for teaching breathwork sessions and as continuing development for professionals such as coaches, bodyworkers, personal trainers and yoga teachers.

Breathwork training moves beyond standalone sessions

The program includes work with facilitated breathwork sessions as well as regulating breathing techniques. That combination is notable because practitioner education in the breathwork field is increasingly spanning both longer experiential processes and shorter practices that can be integrated into other forms of professional work.

For coaches and wellness practitioners, the October intake is another example of breathwork becoming formalized as a professional training pathway rather than being offered only through workshops and retreats. Intesoma describes the program as a 500 hour course extending across a full year, giving participants a substantially longer learning period than a short facilitator intensive.

Applications for the October 2026 training are currently open, with Intesoma listing September 21 as its application deadline.
