Breath Medicine is beginning a new practitioner training this month, with a ten month format that runs from September 2026 through June 2027. The program combines online learning with two in person immersions and supervised experiential work.
Breathwork training with an integration focus
The curriculum covers breath mechanics, somatic and relational facilitation, trauma informed process work, and the foundations of the Breath Medicine approach. The school describes the method as using breath to access expanded states while placing equal attention on how those experiences are integrated afterward.
That emphasis gives the program a somewhat different centre of gravity from training built primarily around learning breathwork techniques. Breath Medicine presents practitioner development as involving physiological literacy, presence, discernment and relational skill alongside the practical mechanics of facilitating sessions.
Online study paired with supervised practice
The online portion begins in September, followed by a first immersion from November 16 to 20, 2026. A second immersion is scheduled for March 1 to 5, 2027, with the overall training concluding in June.
The structure reflects a broader movement in breathwork education toward longer practitioner pathways that include mentorship and supervision rather than relying only on intensive certification formats. For existing coaches and holistic practitioners, that development is particularly relevant as breath based methods become more commonly integrated into wider client work.
