Yoga teacher and Soul Tribe Studio founder Clare Lovelace has launched her memoir, Wild Trust: A Pathway to Intuitive Living. The book was introduced at Lovelace’s Mogo studio on September 20 through an author conversation, a short sound healing experience and a discussion about the unfinished manuscript that eventually became the published work.
A memoir connected to intuitive living
Wild Trust brings Lovelace’s personal story into the wider body of work she has developed through yoga, mindfulness and community practice. Rather than presenting intuitive living as a fixed formula, the memoir uses lived experience to explore how trust can develop through attention to the body, inner signals and the direction a life is already trying to take.
The book also gives Lovelace a longer narrative format than a class or workshop. She has spent more than a decade teaching and now leads Soul Tribe Studio, a community-centered yoga and Pilates space in Mogo. Her teaching draws from Vinyasa, Yin, meditation and yoga philosophy, with self-awareness and resilience recurring across the studio’s work.
The creative process becomes part of the launch
Women’s business coach Bec Cuzzillo joined Lovelace for the launch conversation. Their discussion covered where the idea began, the realities of writing memoir, periods of resistance and self-doubt, and the movement from an incomplete draft to a finished book. That emphasis turned the event into a conversation about making creative work, not only presenting the final result.
The program also included a book signing and time for participants to connect. A mini sound healing linked the literary event to the practices already familiar within Soul Tribe Studio. This gave the launch a form consistent with Lovelace’s existing community rather than using a conventional reading and sales presentation alone.
Extending a studio practice onto the page
Soul Tribe Studio has operated since 2018 and now offers yoga, Pilates, sound-based classes, retreats, teacher training and community activities. Lovelace’s memoir adds a personal development resource that can travel beyond the physical studio while remaining connected to the ideas that inform her teaching.
For independent practitioners considering a book, the release also shows how a personal narrative can sit beside an established service without becoming a manual for that service. Wild Trust is positioned as a memoir first. Its professional relevance comes from the way Lovelace has translated questions about intuition, resistance and self-trust into a form readers can encounter outside a facilitated class.
