Uplifted Energies has opened a wellness center at 214 West Fourth Street in downtown Davenport, Iowa, expanding founder Sarah Skiles’s former solo Reiki and sound practice into a multidisciplinary collective. The new location brings private sessions, group movement, sound experiences and community gatherings into one appointment-based center.
From solo practice to practitioner collective
Skiles founded Uplifted Energies in 2023 and now works alongside a growing team of Reiki practitioners, massage therapists, yoga instructors, a dance and movement therapist and a somatic breathwork practitioner. This structure allows each provider to retain a distinct modality while giving visitors a single place to explore several forms of support.
The individual offering includes Reiki, massage and one-to-one sessions that combine Reiki with sound. Group programming includes slow, breath-led yoga, sound baths, circles and community events. Birth photography also forms part of the center’s services, reflecting Skiles’s broader interest in holding space through significant personal experiences rather than limiting the business to studio classes.
A center shaped for several kinds of participation
The building includes private treatment areas as well as a dedicated setting for group practice. Visitors can enter through individual work, guided movement, sound or social connection. The format is designed to accommodate people who prefer quiet one-to-one appointments and those who feel more comfortable beginning in a shared class or gathering.
Uplifted Energies is also using the space to support local creative work. Art from Quad Cities artists is displayed throughout the center, while a community component connects the studio with nearby nonprofit activity. The opening therefore combines practitioner services with a visible local identity rather than presenting the venue as an isolated treatment business.
Energy work alongside movement and bodywork
Reiki and sound remain the clearest anchors of the expanded practice. Skiles is identified by the center as a Reiki Master, and sound is offered both privately and through group baths. Yoga, massage, breathwork and dance broaden the schedule without being described as substitutes for one another or as parts of a single universal method.
For independent energy practitioners, the development illustrates one route from a founder-led service into a collective model. Uplifted Energies has kept its original focus while adding practitioners whose work can stand on its own. The Davenport center now provides the physical framework for that collaboration, with appointments, classes and community events sharing the same address. Its multidisciplinary team also makes referrals between complementary services more practical without requiring every provider to adopt the same professional identity.
