Frequency With Kimi has completed a hybrid breathwork facilitator training that combined six online classes with a two-day in-person intensive in Berlin. The September program concluded on September 27 after moving participants from remote preparation into small-group practice at a private venue in Neukölln.
Online preparation before the intensive
The training began with evening sessions on September 7, 10, 14, 17, 21 and 24. Each two-hour online class contributed to a structured introduction to breathwork facilitation, while recordings gave participants a way to revisit the material as the in-person weekend approached.
The Berlin portion took place on September 26 and 27 and was capped at 15 participants. Keeping the group small supported hands-on skill building, personal connection and direct attention from the facilitators, while the bilingual team could communicate in English and German even though the training itself was delivered in English.
Technique, awareness and holding space
The curriculum brought together breathwork techniques, trauma-aware facilitation and the practical responsibility of holding space for others. It was designed for both newcomers who felt called to guide breath-based sessions and existing practitioners seeking more structure and confidence in their facilitation.
That combination placed personal practice alongside professional preparation. Participants were not only introduced to specific tools, but also to the attentiveness required when guiding a group through an embodied experience. The course concluded with certification as part of the combined online and in-person pathway.
Part of a wider facilitation practice
Frequency With Kimi’s broader work spans individual sessions, in-person group experiences, mentorship and sound-based practice. Its resources also include introductory material on breathwork, daily practice and what the business calls sonic rituals, placing the facilitator training within an existing ecosystem rather than presenting it as a standalone weekend event.
The hybrid design is notable for independent practitioners developing education across locations. Foundational material can be introduced and reviewed online, while the limited-capacity intensive is reserved for embodied practice, observation and the relational elements that are difficult to reproduce through a screen.
For wellness professionals considering how to teach a hands-on modality, the program offers a compact example of blended delivery. It also shows how a practitioner can connect a certification experience to ongoing mentorship and community-based offerings, giving graduates a broader context for continued learning after the scheduled training dates have ended.
The September cohort has now completed its timetable, marking a concrete expansion of Frequency With Kimi’s work from guided experiences into facilitator development. The course adds an educational pathway for people who want to move from receiving breathwork to learning how to support others through it with greater structure and care.
