Dublin-based fitness and wellness coach Sonya Deegan has moved her long-running Sunday Night Breathwork sessions into a new membership platform called Breathe with Sonya. The new format brings the live weekly practice together with a growing library of recorded breathwork sessions that members can use at other times during the week.
From a weekly session to an ongoing practice library
Deegan has been hosting Sunday Night Breathwork through the Beat the Burnout community, where the sessions developed as a simple end-of-week reset. The new membership keeps that live element but adds on-demand recordings, giving participants a way to practice between scheduled sessions instead of waiting for the next Sunday gathering.
The shift changes the service from a single recurring event into a more continuous digital resource. Members can still join the live breathwork session, but they can also return to recorded practices when they want a shorter reset or prefer to work at their own pace. The membership is designed around accessibility rather than a fixed course sequence, with participants able to choose sessions according to their schedule.
Breathwork positioned as a repeatable routine
Deegan is a fitness and wellness coach and an advanced Blissful Breath Academy teacher. Her Sunday sessions have focused on beginner-friendly guided breathing intended to help participants settle at the end of the weekend and create a calmer transition into the week ahead.
Breathe with Sonya builds on that same rhythm while making repetition easier. Instead of treating breathwork as an occasional workshop, the platform encourages participants to use it more regularly. That distinction matters for independent wellness practitioners because it changes the role of the service: the live event becomes one part of a wider practice environment rather than the entire offer.
A small-practice model for recurring digital support
The launch also shows one way an independent practitioner can extend an established live format without turning it into a large online course. Deegan has kept the familiar weekly session while adding a simple membership layer around it, creating more continuity for existing participants and a clearer entry point for people who prefer recorded practice.
For smaller coaching and wellness businesses, that kind of structure can provide an alternative to constantly launching new workshops. The core practice remains recognizable, but the delivery becomes more flexible and easier to revisit. Breathe with Sonya gives Deegan’s existing breathwork community a permanent digital home while preserving the live weekly connection that helped the practice develop in the first place.
