Just Breathe Begins 100-Hour Breathwork and Meditation Teacher Training

Just Breathe has begun a 100-hour teacher-training pathway combining on-demand study, live Zoom sessions and online or in-person immersion.

Just Breathe has begun its latest Level 1 Breathwork and Meditation Teacher Training, a 100-hour pathway combining self-directed study, live online teaching and a practical immersion. The new cohort started September 29 and is designed for coaches, yoga teachers, therapists, wellbeing professionals and people preparing to teach these practices for the first time.

Online study leads into practical immersion

The program begins with 12 on-demand modules and a series of live Zoom sessions held across the autumn. Participants use the online stage to study breath, meditation, nervous-system responses and the Just Breathe teaching approach before moving into an immersion focused on practical application.

Students can choose an online immersion or attend an in-person option, with the current pathway listing London, Dublin and online formats. The immersion moves from theory into guided practice, teaching workshops and feedback. Course materials remain available after the formal training, giving participants a reference library as they begin to use the methods in their own settings.

The curriculum connects technique with facilitation

Core subjects include the relationship between breath and the body, functional breathing techniques and the Just Breathe Method for meditation. The curriculum also introduces NSRT, the organization’s Nervous System Response Technique, along with its EXHALE group breathwork practice.

Other modules focus on one-to-one breath assessment, group dynamics, holding space and teaching leadership. This gives the training a wider scope than learning a sequence of exercises. Participants are expected to consider how instructions are communicated, how a group is supported and how a session changes when it moves from personal practice into professional facilitation.

Training is intended for several professional routes

Just Breathe positions Level 1 as both an entry route and an addition to an existing practice. A coach might use breath awareness within reflective work, while a yoga teacher or wellbeing practitioner may want a more defined structure for standalone sessions. The mixed format allows students to develop theoretical knowledge gradually, then test it during supervised experiential work.

Completion leads to a Just Breathe certificate, and the organization states that the training is accredited by CPD UK. That accreditation applies to the course rather than automatically granting a regulated clinical qualification, an important distinction for practitioners deciding how the credential fits their current scope of work.

The September cohort reflects a broader shift in breathwork and meditation education toward longer programs that include teaching practice, nervous-system literacy and facilitation skills. For independent professionals, the format offers a route for adding contemplative work with more structure than a short workshop while retaining the flexibility of online learning.
