Angi Sullins and Sarah Jarrett Create 46-Card Oracle Deck for Empaths

Angi Sullins and Sarah Jarrett introduce Resist: An Empath’s Oracle, a 46-card set with a guidebook on boundaries, emotional safety and self-care.

Writer and oracle-deck creator Angi Sullins and collage artist Sarah Jarrett have created Resist: An Empath’s Oracle, a 46-card deck scheduled for release in October 2026 by U.S. Games Systems. The set pairs Sullins’s writing with Jarrett’s collage artwork and centers on empathy, personal boundaries, self-care and emotional safety.

The new deck approaches resistance as a conscious choice about how to respond to difficult circumstances. Rather than emphasizing confrontation, its spiritual framework invites sensitive readers to consider what they want to protect, how they relate to others and where kindness needs to coexist with limits. Cards address subjects such as self-soothing, boundaries and emotional safety, making the themes recognizable outside a formal divination practice.

Sullins has written several previous oracle and tarot projects, including When Woman Had Wings Tarot, Dream Song Oracle and W.I.T.C.H. Oracle. Her work frequently combines poetic language, spiritual imagery and exercises in personal reflection. In Resist, she brings those interests to the experience of people who identify as empaths or feel especially affected by the emotional atmosphere around them.

Jarrett’s contribution gives the deck a distinct visual identity. Her contemporary collage practice combines digital and analog processes, often placing human forms within landscapes, flowers and other natural imagery. For this project, the images accompany messages about renewal, integrity and choosing a personal response to challenging situations. The artwork is intended to be part of the reflective experience, not merely decoration around the text.

The boxed set includes 46 silver gilt-edged cards, a 128-page full-color guidebook and an organza drawstring pouch. The guidebook develops the card themes through poetic passages, interpretations, incantations and self-care reflections. Readers can work with individual cards as prompts for contemplation or incorporate them into an existing spiritual routine.

The deck also reflects a broader style of contemporary oracle publishing in which symbolic cards are used for journaling and introspection as well as divination. Its emphasis is on the reader’s relationship with sensitivity, personal agency and everyday choices. Those ideas belong to the creators’ spiritual and reflective approach; the cards are not presented as a clinically established method for treating emotional difficulties.

Resist: An Empath’s Oracle is scheduled for October 2026 availability, with preorders offered ahead of release. It is an English-language physical card-and-guidebook set rather than an app or online course. For practitioners who use symbolic imagery in personal development or spiritual sessions, the new release provides a structured collection of themes to discuss without requiring a single prescribed interpretation.
